Membership

We are an organization of progressive people who use the Internet. We have joined together to improve our access to it, enhance its function as a tool for mass communication and organizing, develop new technologies and uses for it, and help social justice movements use it effectively to communicate with each other and with the world.

We're like an association.

There are many benefits to membership but the one that will become immediately obvious is that with so many people pooling our resources and sharing technology we can have much better technology, better support and better and more creative use of the Internet.

To maintain a solid infra-structure for our websites, email lists and other Internet tools, we pay yearly dues. There are two types of membership and each has its own dues level. We count on members to make their own determination as to what level best applies.

Individual members (people who join not as part of any organization) pay: $100 per year

Organizations pay: $200

These are paid when you join. You can then take advantage of your member benefits immediately or whenever you're ready.
